FIREWORKS, FOOD, and FUN!! Mark your calendars for the evening of Sunday, August 31st for our Labor Day Life Group Picnic! We'll meet at Sandy Springs Picnic Shelter for a meal together, then proceed to the Anderson Civic Center for their fireworks display later that evening. Watch for more details concerning time and meal logistics.

 
Connect With People

Connect With People. Jesus died for the church. It is immensely important to him. And so it should be to us as well. Without connection to other Christians on the same discipleship journey, we will not grow and mature the way God intends. "Lone Ranger" Christianity is not what God has called us to as his people.

And you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by baptism and God's word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.

Love God

Love God. The call to following Jesus begins here. You can't really live Christian community until you are in a vibrant and personal love relationship with your creator. And service is by your own strength until the love of God is in you. Many churches are compelled to burden people with guilt to serve; burnout is the natural end result of spirit-less ministry. We have found instead that service born through loving commitment is sustainable - and moreover, it brings God glory!
