“ For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works." Titus 2:11-14
MyMinistry meets each Wednesday night from 6pm until 8pm.
The Mount Church Youth Ministry, MyMinistry, exists to create opportunities for students in 6th-12th grade to grow into energetic followers of Christ. The vision of Livewire is to put into action the fact that we, as Christians, are the conduit through which God’s power flows out into the world as we reach the community for Christ, fulfilling the great commission, to bring about Godly change in people’s lives, to better the community, and make a positive impact by the love of Christ through relevant ministry.
Wednesday nights consist of fellowship, teaching, and small group session which all help disciple our students, help establish strong relationships with other Christians, help ignite their talents and gifts for ministry while training leaders to rise up and worship God with their life. The friendships created in Livewire are bonds that won’t easily be broken. Being with other followers of Christ at Livewire, camps, mission trips, weekend retreats, and other events is an irreplaceable time in a student’s life.
NB*TWEEN (5th and 6th grade)
NB*Tween is the preteen ministry here at The Mount Church which meets every Sunday morning at 9:45 am for Bible studies designed with their age and spiritual needs in mind. We serve as a transition ministry to help guide our preteens (and their families) from the children’s ministry into Youth Ministry culture. NB*Tweeners participate in quarterly fellowship events/outings like skating, bowling and swimming. The prayers for this group is that through unique Bible studies, the preteens will develop a Biblical world view and become rooted not just in what we believe, but why it matters.
“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” Colossians 1:28-29
