About
Call to worship: Psalm 19
As we step away from the book of Philippians (but not its message to the Church!), we pause to focus on word and prayer.

Questions to Consider:
1. How does the writer of Psalm 119 say that we find true happiness (vs 1 & 2)?
2. What does it look like in our lives to "seek God with our whole heart" (vs 2)?
3. Obviously, because we live in a broken world, we are not able to always "seek God with our whole heart" and "we don't always do what is right". The writer of this Psalm knows this, but what does verse 5 tell us about the writer's heart?
4. According to verses 6 and 7, what are the results of a person "steadfastly keeping God's statutes"?
5. Verse 5 shows us the Psalmist's desire to be "steadfast in keeping God's statutes"; however, what does he say in verse 8 is the key to steadfast obedience?
